About me

I have always had a deep love of travel, so perhaps this new venture was inevitable. While other kids spent their holidays splashing in pools or building sandcastles, our family was trekking through the Amazon, on safari in the Serengeti, or wandering the breathtaking ruins of Machu Picchu. Exploring the world has always been part of who I am.

 

Before starting a family, I built a career in media - a fast-paced, creative world that gave me amazing opportunities and experiences. But when my children came along, life naturally shifted gears. Travel became less about crazy adventures and more about creating memorable family holidays, where comfort and convenience were just as important as discovery. Over the years, my journeys have spanned every style of travel - from five star luxury resorts to backpacker hostels costing just a few dollars a night. I've embraced the freedom of travelling independently and making plans as I go, but I've also enjoyed the structure of escorted tours and epic overland journeys. Some trips have been solo, diving headfirst into the unknown; more recently my travels have centred on family resorts where thoughtful touches make all the difference.

 

Now, with a lifetime of travel experience behind me and a fresh chapter ahead, I am excited to combine my passion, creativity and organisational skills to help others plan their own unforgettable adventures...
